Expanding Directions

for the Glossary Elements

northward
eastward
southward
westward

Interpreting the directional concept of the "gates" of the city Mary Baker Eddy writes directional definitions into the city foursquare structure in the chapter, The Apocalypse (shown below) These, naturally apply also to the Glossary elements that create nine element substructures for each element.

"Northward, its gates open to the North Star, the Word, the polar magnet of Revelation; eastward, to the star seen by the wise men of the Orient, who followed it to the manger of Jesus; southward, to the genial tropics, with the Southern Cross in the skies, --the Cross of Calvary, which binds human society into solemn union; westward, to the grand realization of the Golden Shore of Love and the Peaceful Sea of Harmony." (SH 575:26)

These directions make sense when seen in context with the matrix in the following manner:

A person who deals with the matrix foursquare in its boundless dimension as Mary Baker Eddy obviously had done herself, is working in divine Science at the same level that she has been, and may thus be qualified to become a teacher of Christian Science by 'taking' the 'degree' at the Massachusetts Metaphysical college where she has taught and remains the President of, at the CSD level.
