The shape of the 9x16 matrix as a 144 element structure
If one recognizes the metaphor of the crown as valid, and the metaphor of Revelation 21:17 as applicable, then one deals with a uniform structure for the Glossary that provides nine individual definitions for each of the sixteen elements of the matrix (shown in Yellow).
With nine definitions per element, one can create a unique substructure that reflects in the small the characteristic of the matrix as a whole. This enables one to create something unique.
With nine definitions available for each element, one can use four of these, arranged and perceived horizontally (green), to represent the four rows of the matrix, representing its cardinal points in the small.
In addition to that, one can have also perceive four vertical definitions, arranged and perceived vertically (blue), that represent the four columns of the matrix, representing its rivers for development. This leaves one with a single definition left over that can be used as a central representative for the element as a whole (yellow).
These unique substructure, of course, applies to every single element of the matrix, each with its unique sets of definitions, all interrelated to one another, and to the definitions for the structure.
In the second last painting in Christ and Christmas we see the unique arrangement within the substructures verified, that reflects the nature of the matrix in the small. This metaphor is found in the form of two concentric squares woven into the design of the carpet.
The central element for the substructure, in this case, is the representative of Christian Science standing right in the middle of the two concentric squares. The two concentric squares are distinctly woven into the carpet and are easily visible in the original painting, but are not no easily recognizable in the reproduction below.
A clearer definition would reveal the following structure, with the woman standing in the middle of it.
The four horizontal sides of the squares correspond with the green horizontal sub-elements, and the vertical sides correspond with the blue vertical sub-elements, and the woman corresponds with the central definition.
The Fourth Dimension of Spirit
With all elements horizontally defined, and vertically defined, and defined in depth, still one more dimension needs to be considered: The fourth dimension, of Spirit.
This definition is actually fundamental to dealing with the Glossary structure. It is so fundamental that Mary Baker Eddy included a description for it in her description of the city foursquare, in the textbook chapter the Apocalypse.
One can certainly see the individual definition groups oriented this way. The same, perhaps, applies also to the entire structure as a whole, whatever its shape may be. (see a more detailed description)
A few basic matrix definitions.
The additional definitions for the rows and column (shown in color) are Glossary definitions that appear within the 144 element structure. They are shown here for functional identification. The reason is, that if one applies the cardinal points definitions from the chapter the Apocalypse alone, one runs into a significant challenge, because one finds Christian Science assigned to the lowest row.
The challenge becomes resolved when on considers the additional definitions (Night, and Hell) that are associated with the last row. By associating Night and Hell with Christian Science, we have the environment defined in which Christian Science operates, for the purpose of eradicating Night and Hell. Indeed, Christian Science alone is able to define Night and Hell correctly as concepts that do not exist in Truth.
Obviously, the end result of the operation of Christian Science in human experience is, that there shall be no Night there. This is the inevitable result.
All that one has left at this point is what we see in the crown of the woman of the Apocalypse, clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars, (the stars in the crown of rejoicing.)
Christ Jesus understood that this result is inevitable. The apostle John understood it. He foresaw it in Revelation as the end of all evil through scientific and spiritual development. Mary Baker Eddy too, understood that this evidence of truth must unfold. This means that we must also understand it. It means that all the definitions that are logically associated with the level of Hell and Night will disappear.
This will happen some time universally, but it can happen individually any time. When this happens, Christian Science will no longer be relevant at the level of Hell and Night. At this point Christianity and Christian Science become one, on the Earth, and Christianity will be redefined as Christian Scientists. All that remains then are the twelve stars (shown above) representing the crown of rejoicing. Since there will be no night there, the application of the chapter, Recapitulation, to the matrix, does not extend into the lower row.
The columns of course, are further defined by Mary Baker Eddy's description of the rivers in Genesis 2, presented in the Glossary and applied to the matrix in their biblical sequence. Their definition is as follows.
Again, these terms are a part of the 144 element structure.
